  • set up an ESL/EFL/ESP activity in your new wiki

What is a wiki, then?

 

A Wiki is a versatile Web 2.0 tool. It is an interactive and dynamic Website with pages that anyone can create, edit and contribute to. You can include texts, photos, videos, polls, gadgets or widgets and more.

How do I start? 

 

To create your own Wiki, just follow these easy steps:

 

  1. Create an account
  2. Set preferences
  3. Create your profile
  4. Learn about the side bar
  5. Create pages and organize them as a menu
  6. Add content
  7. Edit
  8. Upload a photo
  9. Create links and videos, widgets/gadgets, or any other Web 2.0 applications.
  10. Invite your colleagues and students to visit and join in your Wiki
